Ladder 49

Baltimore firefighter Jack Morrison (Joaquin Phoenix) is trapped in a warehouse fire and must rely on his fellow firefighters to rescue him. The film follows the efforts of Ladder Company 49, led by Captain Mike Kennedy (John Travolta), as they try to reach Jack while he tries to escape. Interspersed with the rescue efforts are flashbacks showing how Jack joined the fire department and formed bonds with his fellow firefighters.
