Sean Lau (Aaron Kwok) leads a rescue operation to save his son Joe Lee, who is being held by terrorists along with four other police officers. As the operation unfolds, Lau's team faces a series of challenges and betrayals, including a mole within the police force. After a complex investigation, Lau discovers that Joe Lee was behind the abduction, and the operation is ultimately deemed a success despite its unexpected outcome. The film ends with Lau receiving a mysterious phone call from the terrorists, who announce that they have kidnapped his wife.
