Hedy Lamarr stars as Vanessa Windsor, a fading movie star who is saved by George Nader as Chris Farley, a handsome extra, and soon finds herself entangled in a complicated love triangle with Chris and her own daughter, Jane Powell as Penny Windsor. As Chris becomes the caretaker of Vanessa's beach house, he must navigate his feelings for both women, leading to a dramatic confrontation that ends in tragedy.
