On purge bébé

In this early sound film, Jean Renoir stars as Mr. Follavoine, a chamber pot manufacturer trying to impress a military official, while his wife, Julie Follavoine (Marguerite Pierry), and their son, Chouilloux (Michel Simon), navigate a series of chaotic and humorous mishaps. As Follavoine attempts to close a deal, his son's constipation becomes a source of desperation for his wife, leading to a series of absurd and satirical events that mock the French bourgeoisie.
