Tin Cup

A washed-up ex-pro golfer, Kevin Costner's "Tin Cup" McAvoy, finds a new lease on life when he meets Rene Russo's Dr. Molly Griswold, a clinical psychologist and girlfriend of successful golfer David Simms, played by Don Johnson. To win Molly's heart and prove his worth, Roy decides to qualify for the U.S. Open, and with the help of his new rival-turned-ally, he makes a surprising run in the tournament. With renewed confidence, Roy shocks the golf world, and in the end, finds love with Molly.
