Les dimanches de Ville d'Avray

Sundays and Cybèle, a tragic story of a young orphan girl befriended by an innocent but emotionally damaged veteran of the French Indochina War, Pierre, who has been left childlike and suffers from amnesia and vertigo. The girl, Cybèle, is a 10-year-old abandoned child who has been living in an orphanage, and Pierre, who lives in an apartment in the Ville-d'Avray suburb of Paris with Madeleine, a nurse who was one of his nurses during his initial recuperation. As Pierre and Cybèle spend their Sundays together, they form a complex relationship that blurs the lines of innocence and maturity, and ultimately leads to a devastating tragedy.
