Shan he gu ren

The film "Shan he gu ren" (2015) explores the life of Tao, and those close to her, across three time periods: 1999, 2014, and 2025. In 2025, Tao's son, now going by Dollar, is attending college in Australia and begins a relationship with an older woman, Mia. The film's narrative jumps between these time periods, highlighting Tao's experiences with love, loss, and economic disparity in China.
