Richard the Stork (Released in North America as A Stork's Journey, German: Überflieger — Kleine Vögel, großes Geklapper) is a 2017 animated adventure film about a baby sparrow named Richard, who is orphaned and adopted by a family of storks, believing he is one of them. When the flock's annual migration nears, Richard's true identity as a sparrow is revealed, and he sets out on a journey to prove he is a stork, with the help of Olga, a quirky owl, and Kiki, a disco-loving parakeet. Along the way, they face various challenges, including a honey badger, but ultimately, Richard's determination and acceptance of who he is lead to his acceptance by the stork flock.
