Private Parts

The film follows the life of Howard Stern, a radio personality, from his childhood and rise to success in radio. Stern dreams of being on the radio after visiting his father's recording studio, and he decides to work in radio, studying communications at Boston University. He becomes a DJ at WTBU, the college station, and meets his girlfriend Alison. Stern adopts a more casual attitude on the air, becoming more open and up front, and he and his co-host Robin Quivers refuse orders from their boss to constantly break format. Stern lands a gig in Washington, D.C. and meets Robin, and they become a successful team, but they face the wrath of NBC executives who fail to understand their show's content.
