La prima cosa bella

The film tells the story of the Michelucci family, from the 1970s to the present day. It follows the central character, Anna, the lively and frivolous mother of Bruno and Valeria, as she is unexpectedly crowned "Most Beautiful Mother" at a summer beauty pageant in 1971. This event sets off a chain of chaos that affects the family for thirty years, and Bruno returns to his hometown as an adult to care for his mother during her final days, remembering key episodes of his family life through a series of flashbacks.
