Orange County

Colin Hanks plays Shaun Brumder, a high school student from Orange County who dreams of becoming a writer and attending Stanford University. After his application is rejected due to a guidance counselor's mistake, Shaun undergoes a dramatic transformation, earning high grades and SAT scores, and becomes president of his graduating class. Along the way, he faces various complications, including his dysfunctional family, a lost loved one, and a misadventurous journey to Stanford, where he ultimately learns to reconcile with his true aspirations and those around him.
