Two hundred years after Ellen Ripley's death, a group of scientists clone her, hoping to breed the ultimate weapon in the form of the deadly Xenomorphs. The new Ripley is full of surprises as she teams up with a band of smugglers to keep the creatures from reaching Earth, facing a desperate battle against the military and the sinister forces manipulating them. With its blend of sci-fi terror and action-packed sequences, Alien: Resurrection delivers a thrilling ride, but ultimately falls short of the series' previous installments in terms of memorable characters and coherent plot.
