Burû firumu no onna

A 1969 pink film drama, Blue Film Woman tells the story of a family's struggles with debt, illness, and tragedy, as a man's wife hires herself out to a lecherous loan-shark to pay off their debts, and their daughter seeks revenge after her father's suicide. As the family's situation deteriorates, the film's use of color becomes increasingly stylized, flooded with vibrant hues and bold silhouettes.
