Bulworth

Warren Beatty stars as Jay Bulworth, a 60-year-old U.S. Senator from California facing a primary challenge from a young populist. Disillusioned with politics, Bulworth negotiates a $10 million life insurance policy and contracts to have himself assassinated within two days. After a drunken and provocative speech, he begins to connect with the black community through hip-hop, forming a bond with Nina, a young Black activist. As he navigates the campaign trail, Bulworth must confront his own mortality and the darker side of American politics, ultimately leaving his fate ambiguous.
