Totally F***ed Up

"Totally F***ed Up" follows the lives of six gay adolescents, four of whom are gay men, and two a lesbian couple, as they struggle to get along with each other and life in the face of various major obstacles. The film chronicles the dysfunctional lives of its characters, including the break-up of Steven and Deric, the lesbian couple Michele and Patricia's attempt to conceive a child, and the ultimate climax where Andy dies of suicide. Shot in 16mm film using a handheld video camcorder, the film features a documentary-like style and explores themes of queer identity, LA life and culture, and the emotional struggles of its characters.
