Like Mike

"Like Mike" follows 13-year-old Calvin Cambridge, played by Shad Moss, and his friends as they find old shoes with the initials "MJ" that give Calvin unbelievable basketball powers. After being struck by lightning, Calvin gains the chance to play for the NBA, impressing a coach and getting signed to a one-day contract with the Los Angeles Knights. Calvin brings teamwork to the Knights and leads them to victory, forming a bond with Tracy Reynolds, played by Morris Chestnut, who becomes his roommate and mentor.
