Half Girlfriend

The film follows Madhav Jha, a good basketball player who struggles to convince Riya Somani, an upper-class young girl, to be his girlfriend. After Riya agrees to be his "half-girlfriend," Madhav learns that Riya has divorced due to her husband's and his mother's attempts to beat her. As Madhav helps Riya prepare for a speech to secure a grant for her school, Riya reveals her true feelings, and Madhav goes to New York to search for her after she's diagnosed with blood cancer. Eventually, Madhav finds Riya, and they reconcile and consummate their relationship.
