The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard follows Don Ready (Jeremy Piven), a charismatic salesman who leads a ragtag team to save a car dealership in Temecula, California, from bankruptcy. As they work to sell 211 cars over the 4th of July weekend, Don's personal life becomes entangled with his professional success. A rival dealership's owner, Paxton, tries to put his future father-in-law out of business, while Don's team uses unorthodox methods to meet their sales targets.
