In a post-apocalyptic world where a highly contagious and lethal virus, The Sickness, has ravaged the globe, a pharmaceutical corporation called The Company rules with an iron fist, distributing a treatment for the virus at an exorbitant price. The year is 2027, eight years after the initial outbreak, and the majority of people are forced into poverty and dependence.
