Spoiled heiress Yeh Fenfen (Shu Qi) checks into a rundown B&B on the Penghu Islands after her family pressures her to get married, only to find out it's a fake advertisement run by the owner, Wu (Richie Jen), who is desperate to drum up business for his struggling business. After a disastrous first night, Fenfen loses her luggage and returns to the island, forcing her to spend more time with Wu, a carefree islander with a kind personality. As they spend more time together, they embark on a romantic journey, with Fenfen's high-society world colliding with Wu's island lifestyle.
