Sôseiji

"Sōseiji" is a 1999 period piece set in the late Meiji era, following Dr. Yukio Daitokuji (Masahiro Motoki), a doctor who begins to suspect that a killer is targeting him and his amnesiac wife, Rin (Ryo), after their parents' sudden deaths. As the story unfolds, Yukio's relationship with his wife worsens, and he faces off against his long-lost twin brother, Sutekichi, who was rejected by their father.
