Life of Pi

The story follows Pi Patel, played by Suraj Sharma, a 16-year-old Indian boy who finds himself stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean after his family's cargo ship sinks during a storm. He is joined by an orangutan and a spotted hyena, as well as a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, with whom he forms an unlikely bond over time. As they face numerous challenges at sea, Pi fashions a small raft to keep himself and the tiger safe from predators, and eventually discovers a floating island where they find refuge.
