Goodbye, Mr. Chips

Mr. Chipping, a shy young man, starts teaching at Brookfield, an all boys English school. His early days at the school don't go well, but he eventually becomes the senior master, charming everyone with his warmth. Robert Donat plays Mr. Chipping, a beloved aged school teacher and former headmaster, whose life and career are shaped by his love for his wife, Katherine "Kathy" Ellis, and his dedication to his students.
