Stander

The film "Stander" (2003) is a biographical drama about Captain André Stander, a South African police officer turned bank robber. Stander, played by Thomas Jane, initially turns down the role but is convinced by the filmmakers to take it. As he embarks on a life of crime, he forms a friendship with his accomplices, Lee McCall and Allan Heyl, who ultimately betray him in a violent confrontation. After a long and cat-and-mouse chase, Stander is finally caught and killed by police in Florida, USA.
