Corrina, Corrina

Manny Singer, a recent widower, hires a housekeeper/nanny, Corrina Washington, to care for his mute and withdrawn daughter, Molly. To help Molly heal from her mother's death, Corrina tells her that her mother is in heaven. As Corrina becomes increasingly involved with Molly and Manny, they discover they are compatible, sharing similar values, humor, and a love of music. However, their budding friendship and romance are put to the test as they face prejudice as an interracial couple.
