Dori Shephard (Charlotte Sullivan) is a junior editor at Heartstrings Press who argues her way into working as the lead editor on a romance book by Michael Rothchild (Corey Sevier). As she navigates her dream job, Dori's personal life becomes complicated when her relationship with fiancé Philip is threatened by her work with Michael, who turns out to be less than what she expected.
