Zoey Deutch stars as Peg Dahl, a paroled convict from Buffalo, New York, who cons and hustles for money to escape her hometown, becoming a debt collector while battling debt herself. She teams up with fellow hustlers, including Jermaine Fowler and Noah Reid, to start a legitimate debt collection business, but faces sabotage and veiled threats from her former employer, Jai Courtney's character, Wizz. Judy Greer plays a supporting role as Kathy, and the film follows Peg's journey as she tries to make a name for herself and find her place in the world.
