The Ref

On Christmas Eve in an affluent Connecticut hamlet, cat burglar Gus (Denis Leary) is forced to take a bickering, dysfunctional family hostage on Christmas Eve. His plan goes awry when he sets off the alarm and is chased out by a guard dog. Forced to drive to the family's house, Gus, Lloyd Chasseur (Kevin Spacey) and Caroline Chasseur (Judy Davis), continue to bicker, with Gus having to repeatedly intercede. As the police search for Gus expands, he continues hiding in the Chasseur home while waiting for his partner Murray.
