Love Is the Devil: Study for a Portrait of Francis Bacon

The film follows Francis Bacon (Derek Jacobi) as he forms a unique relationship with George Dyer (Daniel Craig), a working-class man he invites to share his bed after surprising him during a burglary. As their bond deepens, Dyer's struggle with addiction strains their connection, and Bacon introduces him to his circle of eccentric friends in the Soho art world. The two men eventually embark on a trip together, but Dyer's substance abuse and jealousy take a toll on their relationship. Ultimately, their partnership ends in tragedy as Dyer succumbs to his addiction.
