Yossi

Yossi, a 34-year-old closeted gay cardiologist, struggles to find meaning in his life after the loss of his lover ten years prior. A chance encounter with Varda Amichai, the mother of his dead lover, shakes him out of his routine and leads him on a spontaneous pilgrimage to Tel Aviv, where he reignites the fire of his former self. Along the way, he meets Tom, a young soldier who is openly gay and becomes a catalyst for Yossi's journey of self-discovery. As Yossi navigates his way through a series of encounters, including a disastrous date and a chance romance with Tom, he must confront the demons of loneliness and desperation that have haunted him for years.
