The Sunlit Night

Frances, a young artist played by Jenny Slate, takes a job assisting artist Nils Auerman in a remote village in Norway. She soon finds herself drawn to Yasha, an émigré from Russia, who is in the village to bury his father. As they work on a barn together, Frances and Yasha let go of their pasts under the constant sunlight. They discover each other in the Arctic circle and find solace in their unlikely friendship.
