I Capture the Castle

In 1930s England, 17-year-old Cassandra Mortmain (Romola Garai) and her eccentric family, including her father James (Bill Nighy) and stepmother Topaz (Tara Fitzgerald), struggle to survive in their decaying English castle. As Cassandra develops her writing ability, she finds herself caught up in her own romantic entanglements with a wealthy American landlord, Simon Cotton, and her long-time crush on a family friend, Stephen. Through her experiences, Cassandra learns valuable lessons about love, family, and finding her own voice.
