After setting her serial killer boyfriend on fire, a paranoid delusional woman, Mary, gets a job at an all-night gas station, the Deer Gas Market. The isolation triggers her anxiety and hallucinations, with devastatingly gory results. Mary's childhood friend Debbie visits her, but is later attacked and killed by a hooded assailant. Mary eventually confronts her stalker, James, also known as the "Rain Ripper," who is a serial killer that torments her by calling from prison, and Mary must fight for survival.
