Bucktown

In the 1975 blaxploitation film Bucktown, Duke Johnson (Fred Williamson) arrives in a small Southern town to bury his brother, who was killed for refusing to pay corrupt cops. After opening his late brother's nightclub, Duke must deal with local rednecks, corrupt businessmen, and his own complicated relationships with his lady friend Aretha (Pam Grier) and his old pal Roy (Thalmus Rasulala). As tensions escalate, Duke must confront the true culprits and ultimately decide whether to take matters into his own hands.
