Agneska Mandat stars as Janina Duszejko, an elderly woman who lives alone in the Klodzko Valley where a series of mysterious crimes are committed. The film follows Duszejko's investigation into the murders, which she believes are connected to the local hunting activity and the killing of animals in the area. As Duszejko delves deeper into the mystery, she befriends a Czech entomologist, Boros Schneider, and begins to uncover a complex web of secrets and lies among the local hunters.
