Elisa Girotto (Vittoria Puccini) gives birth to her baby daughter Anna (Benedetta Porcaroli) and, despite being diagnosed with breast cancer, allocates 18 sentimental gifts for Anna's birthdays from birth to age 18. After her death, Anna receives these gifts and feels guilty about not knowing her mother's love and sacrifice sooner. The film is a heartfelt drama about a mother's love and sacrifice, with Elisa's husband Alessio (Edoardo Leo) also contributing to the story.
