Dil Bechara

Kizie Basu (Sanjana Sanghi) is a 21-year-old cancer patient fighting thyroid cancer when she meets Immanuel "Manny" Rajkumar Jr. (Sushant Singh Rajput), a 23-year-old terminal cancer patient in remission. The two bond over their love for Hindi music, specifically an incomplete song by retired songwriter Abhimanyu Veer, and gradually fall in love as they shoot scenes for Manny's film inspired by actor Rajinikanth. As Manny's health deteriorates, Kizie convinces him and his friend Jagdish "JP" Pandey (Sahil Vaid) to finish the film, and after Manny's death, Kizie completes the film, which premieres in an open-air theatre to a heartwarming response, with Manny breaking the fourth wall to speak directly to Kizie, leaving her with the secret word "Seri" to remember that everything will be okay.
