The Heartbreak Kid

Claudia Karvan plays Christina Papadopoulos, a 22-year-old Greek-Australian teacher who falls in love with her 17-year-old student, Nick Polides, played by Alex Dimitriades. Christina challenges her traditional Greek-Australian upbringing and her own values as she navigates her feelings for Nick, who is initially hesitant to reciprocate her advances. As their affair progresses, Christina must confront the consequences of her actions and the societal expectations placed upon her.
