In the 1966 British-West German crime film "The Trygon Factor", a Scotland Yard detective named Superintendent Cooper Smith (Stewart Granger) investigates a string of robberies and a murder, leading him to a wealthy but strange English family with a group of nuns. As he digs deeper, he suspects that neither the family nor the nuns is quite what they seem to be. The story is based on the 1917 Edgar Wallace novel Kate Plus Ten and features a complex mystery with plenty of twists.
