The Work and the Glory

The Work and the Glory tells the story of the Steed family, who relocate to upstate New York in the early 1800s and unwittingly settle in a town divided along religious lines. As they face heavy persecution, each member of the family must come to terms with their own beliefs in the face of controversy surrounding a young man named Joseph Smith. Sam Hennings plays Benjamin Steed, the family's father, who struggles to weather the raging controversy with his sons, Joshua (Eric Johnson) and Nathan (Alexander Carroll).
