An American Pickle

An Eastern European Jewish immigrant, Herschel Greenbaum, is accidentally preserved in a vat of pickles and wakes up a century later in modern-day Brooklyn. Played by Seth Rogen, Herschel meets his great-grandson, Ben, a computer coder who he struggles to connect with. As Herschel navigates the modern world, he starts a pickle business, gaining popularity on social media, but faces challenges, including deportation, and ultimately finds a way to mend his relationship with Ben.
