Gaby (Chelsea Peretti), a charismatic caterer, navigates her 39th birthday and the societal pressure to settle down after being dumped by her boyfriend, who reveals he was only in it for a fling. With the encouragement of her married best friend Amanda, Gaby starts searching for a new partner, but her disastrous Tinder dates and a serendipitous encounter with a stranger named Will on a hike lead her to reevaluate her priorities and find happiness in her life as it currently is.
