You Lucky Dog

Natasha Henstridge stars as Lisa Rayborn, a New York City fashion designer returning to her hometown and family farm to help her brother, Jim (Harry Hamlin), who has converted their cattle farm into a sheep farm. Lisa adopts a Border Collie named Lucky and trains it to herd sheep, with the goal of entering it into a sheep herding contest. However, a severe thunderstorm sparks a forest fire, and Lucky helps rescue a lost girl, Kristina, bringing her to safety. Lucky's leg is burned during the rescue, and it seems she may not be able to compete.
