In this endearing supernatural love story spanning two decades, a university student, Yoon So-eun (Kim Ha-neul), finds herself communicating with a female classmate, Ji-in (Yoo Ji-tae), from the same school through an antique ham radio. As they exchange stories and confide in each other, Ji-in's presence in 2000 is revealed, and So-eun learns she has a connection to his past. The film follows their developing relationship, interspersed with the blossoming romance between So-eun and her friend's brother, Dong-hee (Park Yong-woo), and Ji-in's unrequited love for his classmate, Seo Hyeon-ji (Ha Ji-won).
