Nagai iiwake

A recently widowed writer, Sachio Kinugasa (Masahiro Motoki), is asked to care for the two children of a truck driver, Yoichi Omiya (Pistol Takehara), whose wife also died in a bus crash that claimed Sachio's own wife, Natsuko (Eri Fukatsu). As Sachio navigates his new role, he confronts his own lack of grief and grapples with the complexities of relationships and family. Through his experience, Sachio begins to reevaluate his own life and find closure for his loss.
