The Eagle Has Landed

Michael Caine stars as Colonel Kurt Steiner, an untamed German paratroop commander, whose covert mission is to kidnap Winston Churchill while on a retreat. The Germans are aided by Irishman Liam Devlin, played by Donald Sutherland, who helps pave the way for their operation in Norfolk. Jenny Agutter plays Devlin's romantic interest in the quaint village, while Robert Duvall plays Colonel Max Radl, a German intelligence officer tasked with leading the plot.
