"Jacob" is a 1994 German/Italian/American television movie directed by Peter Hall, starring Matthew Modine as Jakob, who defrauds his twin brother Esau (Sean Bean) and flees, only to find shelter with his uncle Laban (Giancarlo Giannini) before being deceived. Along the way, Jakob falls in love with his cousin Rachel (Lara Flynn Boyle), whom he later marries, and reconciles with his brother Esau.
