The Phoenix Incident

The Phoenix Incident is a found footage science fiction horror film that tells the story of a group of friends in Arizona who go missing on the night of the infamous Phoenix Lights sighting in 1997. Yuri Lowenthal plays Glenn Lauder, a man whose recovered footage ("The Lauder Tapes") provides most of the film's evidence. The film explores the events surrounding the Phoenix Lights and the subsequent disappearance of four men, including Heaven's Gate cult member Walton S. Gayson, who was being held in federal custody. The film's plot unfolds through the recovered footage, which reveals a series of bizarre events, including a dogfight between Air Force jets and an unidentified craft, and the subsequent attack by defensive creatures.
