El mariachi

A wandering young musician, El Mariachi (Carlos Gallardo), arrives in the town of Acuña carrying his guitar case, which contains his signature guitar. He is mistaken for a recently escaped convict, Azul, by the town's drug lord, Moco, and his henchmen. The Mariachi must defend himself against the hitmen, who are also after Azul, while falling for the drug lord's girlfriend, Dominó (Consuelo Gómez), and navigating a complex web of loyalty, betrayal, and violence. As the Mariachi seeks refuge in a bar owned by Dominó, he must use his wits and guitar to outsmart his pursuers and ultimately exact revenge on Moco for the death of his love.
