Kurîpî: Itsuwari no rinjin

Detective inspector Takakura, played by Hidetoshi Nishijima, quits active service and becomes a university lecturer in criminal psychology after narrowly escaping an attempt on his life. He is asked by his former colleague Nogami to reopen an old cold case involving the disappearance of three family members, which leads him to investigate a series of senseless murders. As Takakura delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a dark web of mind control and deceit surrounding his new, mysterious neighbor, Masayuki Nishino, played by Teruyuki Kagawa, who is revealed to be an impostor controlling his neighbors through drugs and manipulation.
